This is our favourite bath at Takaragawa onsen. The water was apparently about 42 degrees yesterday. Sitting in that kind of temperature you don't really notice that it is only about 1 degree outside. In fact, you're glad it is. Last time we were here it was the middle of summer so very different. We loved it then for its beautiful leafy, green and lush serenity.. But the snow gives it a magical feeling which I will never forget. Winter or summer, this is heaven.
